How It Happened

* The Bears' Colin Mills drained a three-pointer with less than 10 seconds showing on the clock to break a 61-61 tie.  Prior to his three, Mills grabbed a key offensive rebound off a miss on a one-and-one free throw attempt by Nazareth Warren.  Mills quickly called a timeout and outside the :30 second breather hit what turned out to be the game-winner.

* Abington tied the game at 59-59 after redshirt-junior Christian Niles split a pair of free throws at the 2:57 mark.  On the next possession, senior Kobe Devine gave the Nittany Lions the lead with a layup basket that made the score 61-59 with about two minutes to play.

* St. Joseph's tied the game at 61-61 on its ensuing possession thanks to a pair of free throws by Justin Nazon.  Both teams came up empty on their next three possessions before Mills scored the games final basket.  Abington was unable to get a shot off to potentially tie the game and force overtime in its last possession.

* Abington held the game's only double-digit lead midway through the first half.  Freshman Gabe Swift scored on a fast-break to give the Nittany Lions a 25-15 lead. The Bears rallied and used a 13-4 run to come within one point of the lead at 29-28 with three minutes to play until halftime.  However, the Nittany Lions pushed their lead to six when freshman Anthony Pineda drained a three-pointer to make the score 36-30 in the final minute of the half.  Abington led, 36-32, heading into the locker rooms at halftime.
