How It Happened

* Abington trailed by as many as 12 points early in the fourth quarter after Harrisburg's Giahny Correa drained a three-pointer to make the score 59-47.

* Over the next three-plus minutes of action, Abington rallied to cut the deficit down to four points thanks to a 10-3 run.  Freshman Layla Reid finished off the rally with a fastbreak score that made the score 61-57 with 6:01 to play.

* Harrisburg pushed its lead to seven points at 64-57, but back-to-back scores by freshman Amirah Hackney quickly made it a three-point game with less than five minutes showing on the clock.

* Three points would be as close as Abington would get to Harrisburg as the home squad held the visitors to just two field goals in the final three minutes.  Harrisburg shot 8-of-11 from the free throw line during that span to hold off Abington.

* Abington held its biggest lead of the game late in the first quarter when the Nittany Lions claimed a 22-17 advantage after a Hackney fastbreak basket.  Harrisburg regained control of the lead in the second quarter and went on to a 37-30 lead entering the locker rooms at halftime.

Inside the Numbers

* Senior Angela Sanders reached another career milestone as she surpassed 700 rebounds becoming just the third player in program history to do so after recording eight rebounds in the game.  She currently sits at 705 career rebounds with just Shayna Rodriguez (721) and Jessica Schmidt (739) ahead of her in the record books. Sanders also totaled 14 points.

* Hackney recorded her third 20-plus point game in her last four contests after totaling a team-high 25 points.  She also finished with 11 rebounds to record her fourth double-double of the season.

* Layla Reid finished with 13 points; one shy of her season-high after shooting 6-of-9 from the field.  She also totaled six rebounds.

* Junior Kaya Mobley led the team with a game-high 14 rebounds with 12 coming on the defensive end.  Mobley also had eight points and three assists.

* For Harrisburg, Correa totaled a game-high 28 points, while Bailey Oehmig finished with 15 points.
