Abington, Pa. – Senior
Josh Baar connected on a two-run shot over the left field fence in game two of a United East Conference (UEC) doubleheader against Penn State Berks on Saturday afternoon at Alverthorpe Park. Baar's two-run homer walked it for the Nittany Lions as the home team came away with a 15-14 victory in game two. Earlier, Berks came away with a 6-4 victory in game one.

How It Happened (Game 1)
* Abington jumped out to a 2-0 lead after the first inning thanks to a two-run double by senior
Montana Milward.
* Berks responded in the second with three runs to take a 3-2 lead. Berks drew a pair of bases loaded walks in the inning to account for two of the three runs.
* Abington tied the game at 3-3 in the bottom of the second when freshman
Donato Incollingo led off with a blast over the center field fence. It marked his first collegiate home run.
* The score remained tied at three until the fourth inning. Zach Smith gave Berks a 4-3 lead with a two-out run scoring triple.
* In the bottom of the fifth Abington tied the game once again. Senior
Shane Fillman came through with a run scoring single to tie the game at 4-4. Fillman's hit drove in senior
Sean Doherty who led the inning off with a walk.
* In the eighth of a seven-inning game, back-to-back doubles gave Berks a 6-4 lead. Isaiah Dull led the inning off getting hit by a pitch and then Colin Amerine and Jonathan Myers each doubled with Myers driving in both Dull and Amerine.
* Justin Hefner retired Abington in order in the bottom of the eighth, including two strikeouts to pick up the save.
Inside the Numbers (Game 1)
* Incollingo went 2-for-4 to go along with his second inning home run.
* Milward finished 1-of-4 with a two-run double.
* Doherty went 1-for-2 with a walk and two runs scored.

Owen Lynch pitched 5.2 innings of relief and struck out a pair of batters.
* For Berks, Myers went 1-for-3 and drove in three of the team's six runs. Josh Miller earned the win as he went seven innings and finished the game with 10 strikeouts.
How It Happened (Game 2)
* Abington trailed 12-4 entering the seventh inning and when the inning was all said and done the home team held a 13-12 advantage. The Nittany Lions sent 14 batters to the plate and scored nine runs on five hits. Abington loaded the bases and then three straight batters were plunked, including senior
Eric Rollins, redshirt senior
Ja'nai Vaughan and Doherty.
* Later in the seventh, freshman
Gabe Marrero blooped in a hit to right to drive in a pair of runs to bring Abington to within one run of tying the game at 12-11. Two batters later, in his second at-bat of the inning, Rollins singled to center scoring Marrero and Milward to give Abington its first lead of the game at 13-12.
* Berks responded in the top half of the eighth with two runs to regain the lead. Myers tripled to left field scoring Amerine who doubled prior. Myers would then score on a sacrifice bunt by Kolbie Reeser to give Berks a 14-13 advantage.
* In the bottom of the ninth, Fillman led the inning off with a double. However, Hefner managed to get the next two batters out to leave Abington with one out to work with. Baar, down to his last strike, launched a no doubt about it blast over the center field fence to walk it off for Abington.
Inside the Numbers (Game 2)
* Baar collected four hits in the game in five at-bats. He scored three times and drove in two with his walk-off homer. It marked Baar's first of the season and the 15
th of his career.
* Rollins finished 3-for-4 with three runs and a career-high five RBI. Rollins also homered in the game back in the fourth inning for his second long ball of the season.
* Freshman
Logan Woodward earned his first win of the season after pitching a scoreless 1.2 innings of relief. He struck out two of the six batters he faced.
* For Berks, Myers finished the game 5-for-5 with four runs and three RBI as he hit for the cycle. His triple in the eighth inning completed the rare feat as he also homered in the third inning.

th contests between Abington and Berks since the start of the 2011 season. Abington is now 19-20 versus Berks in the all-time series.
