How It Happened

* Abington trailed 9-2 entering the bottom of the second inning and flipped the script with a nine-run inning to take an 11-9 lead by inning's end.  Senior Eric Rollins drove in the inning's first run with a double down the right field line to score junior Jake Fallers. Later in the inning, Rollins came to the plate again, this time with the bases loaded, and connected on a blast over the right field fence for the grand slam long ball.  Rollin's home run gave the Nittany Lions an 11-9 lead and marked his fifth RBI of the inning.  Earlier in the inning, Incollingo launched his second home run of the gam to make the score 9-7 at the time.

* Abington extended its lead to four in the bottom of the third.  With two outs in the inning, senior Montana Milward sent the ball over the left-center field fence for a two-run shot to make the score 13-9.  It marked his first home run of the season.

* In the bottom of the sixth Abington added four more runs.  Junior Josh Henderson, in just his second official career at-bat, cleared the bases with a three-run triple to right-center field.  Henderson then scored on a sacrifice fly by senior Sean Doherty to make the score 17-10.

* Berks scored single runs in the seventh and the eighth to make it an 17-12 game.  Abington got one of the runs back in the bottom of the eighth.  Freshman Dominic Hoguet drove in the team's final run with a base hit to center field.
