How It Happened

* The Nittany Lions increased their lead to 3-0 in the bottom of the second when freshman Ava Livingston hit a sacrifice fly to right field that scored sophomore Emily Foxhill.  Foxhill led the inning off with a walk and then went on to steal second base before advancing to third base on a wild pitch.

* Eastern Nazarene got on the board in the top half of the third inning with a four-run frame.  With the score 3-1, the Lions scored their next three runs with two outs in the inning.  Abby Stansbury tied the game with a two-run single up the middle to tie the game at 3-3.  Stansbury scored the go-ahead run off a double from Alexys Giddings.

* The Lions scored two runs in the fourth with Izabel Pozar and Bailey Olaveson coming through with run scoring hits to increase the lead to 6-3.

Inside the Numbers
