How It Happened

* In the top half of the sixth the Chargers tied the game at 5-5 after trailing by three runs to start the inning.  Noelle Martin highlighted the inning with a two-out two-run single. Martin then scored on a base hit by Alyssa Paulson to tie the game.

* Alyssa Hamilton led the game off with a solo home run to give the Chargers a 1-0 lead a few pitches into the game.  The Nittany Lions responded with two runs in the bottom of the inning with freshman Ava Livingston and junior Gretchen Yanss each with run scoring hits.

* Abington made it a 4-1 game in the bottom of the second when Hacker and Antosiewicz had back-to-back run scoring hits with two outs in the inning.  Hacker ripped a triple to right-center field to score sophomore Emily Foxhill.  Antosiewicz connected on a base hit to right-center to drive in Hacker.

* The Nittany Lions scored a single run in the fourth to increase their lead to 5-1 when Livingston hit a pop up in the infield with the bases loaded.  The ball fell between three fielders allowing all runners to advance.

* Lancaster Bible scored a run in the top half of the fifth before scoring its three runs in the sixth that tied the game at 5-5.
