Galloway, N.J. - The Penn State Abington men's soccer team dropped a heart-breaker on the road to Stockton University by the score of 1-0 in a non-conference contest on Thursday night at G. Larry James Stadium.  The Osprey scored the game's lone goal in the 81st minute off a penalty kick to break the scoreless tie.

How It Happened
 
* Stockton took advantage of a penalty kick opportunity after an Abington foul inside the box in the 81st minute.  The Osprey's Ernst Louisius converted the kick to break the scoreless tie with less than 10 minutes to play in regulation.
 
* The Nittany Lions had a couple of corner kick chances in the final five minutes but neither developed a chance for a shot on-goal. 
 
* Senior goalkeeper Brendan Werner made a key stop in the 84th minute preventing Stockton from doubling its lead.  Werner finished the game with seven saves.

* Senior Eljo Agolli and freshman Israel Gonzalez each had two shots in the game.  Senior Sean Horvay and sophomore Hugh Nungessor also tallied a shot.
 
* Ernst accounted for six of Stockton's 17 shots, including five on-goal.  Kyle Birmingham made four saves in net for the Osprey to register a shutout.
 
All-Time Series
Tonight marked the third meeting between Abington and Stockton since the start of the 2013 season.  The Nittany Lions are now 0-3-0 versus the Osprey in the all-time series.

Abington returns to action on Saturday, Sept. 21 as the Nittany Lions travel to face Moravian University in a non-conference contest.  Game time is set for 4 p.m.
