Worrall Finishes Seventh at Bryn Athyn Invitational

Bryn Athyn, Pa. - Senior Brielle Worrall finished seventh overall as the Penn State Abington women's cross country team competed at the Bryn Athyn College Invitational on Saturday. The Nittany Lions were among six teams competing in the race.

Race Highlights

* Worrall finished the 6k-course in a time of 29:05.35 as she was the top finisher for the Nittany Lions. Her time also set a new season-best in a 6k-race.

* Freshman Anna Hogan finished 12^th overall as she crossed the finish line in a personal-best time of 30:31.33.

* Freshman Liza Worrall also set a new personal-best as she finished in 36:58.26.

* Sophomore Himani Bhave finished in 50:00.54, while freshman Anyia Norris clocked in at 54:09.54 for a season-best time. Junior Yeva Amirkhanyan also registered a season-best time as she crossed the finish line in 55:42.86.

Abington returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 5 as the Nittany Lions compete in the annual Highlander Invitational hosted by Cairn University.
