How It Happened

*  Abington trailed 75-74 with 2:13 to play in the overtime period when Brown scored a layup basket and in the process was fouled on the play.  Brown connected on his free throw to give Abington a 77-75 advantage.

* On the team's following possession, the Nittany Lions doubled their lead after senior Kolby Miller scored a fastbreak layup.  The Fords cut the lead back down to two on their next possession with the score sitting in favor of the Nittany Lions, 79-77 with 1:11 to play.

* Brown pushed the lead back to four after a clutch tip-in basket with :32 seconds showing on the clock. However, the Fords once again cut the deficit down to two points (81-79) now with just :20 seconds remaining.

* Miller split a pair of free throws to make the score 82-79.  Haverford missed a three-pointer on the offensive end and Brown grabbed the defensive board and immediately fouled. Brown went to the free throw line and connected on both his attempts to seal the five-point victory for the Nittany Lions.

* Abington trailed by as many as nine points in the second half when the Fords held a 50-41 lead at the 15:54 mark.  The Nittany Lions tied the game and took the lead less than four minutes later when junior Dylan Shead made a pair of free throws to make the score 53-52.  Abington led by as many as five points at 59-54 with 9:47 to play.

* Both teams would exchange leads twice down the stretch before Abington tied the game at 71-71 on layup basket by senior Kobe Devine with :34 seconds left in regulation.  Redshirt junior Christian Niles set the play up off a steal on the defensive end.
