How It Happened

* Sophomore Israel Gonzalez picked the perfect time to score his first collegiate goal as he broke a scoreless tie early in the second half to give the Nittany Lions a 1-0 lead.  Gonzalez found the back of the net in the 63rd minute with sophomore Liame Attis assisting on the play.

* Less than a minute later after Gonzalez's goal, senior goalkeeper Brendan Werner made a clutch save off a shot by the Chargers' AJ Mecke to keep the lead in-check.  Mecke's shot turned out to be the final shot by Lancaster Bible in the game.
