Alumni, Families & Parents Weekend to Begin Friday

Abington, Pa. – The Penn State Abington community is set to celebrate 75 years of Penn State Ogontz/Abington this weekend Oct. 10-11 with several events and activities across campus.

The Penn State Abington athletics department will feature a United East Conference (UEC) doubleheader on Saturday, Oct. 11 at Memorial Field as the men's and women's soccer teams are in action. The men's team will take on Penn State Berks at 1p .m. and will be followed by the women's soccer contest against the University of Valley Forge at 3 p.m.

During halftime of the men's soccer game, Penn State Abington athletics will be announcing the selections of the inaugural Hall of Fame class. The inaugural class will officially be inducted and celebrated with a ceremony in January. More details will be provided after the official announcement of this year's inaugural class.

Food Trucks will also be at Memorial Field for the festivities from noon to 4 p.m. The food trucks are 'Cash Only' so please plan accordingly.
