How It Happened

* A 16-3 run by the Bison late in the second half turned out to be the difference in what was a back-and-forth game.  With the score tied 55-55, Gallaudet was awarded four free throws after an Abington shooting foul and technical foul.  The Bison made all four free throws to grab a 59-55 lead at the 8:50 mark.

* The four free throws jump-started a run by the Bison that recorded their first double-digit lead of the game at 67-57 after Brandon Washington scored a layup basket with less than five minutes to play.  Gallaudet increased its lead to as many as 15 points (75-60) after Blessed Mbogo made a pair of free throws.

* In the first half, neither team held a lead larger than two possessions.  The Nittany Lions led 38-36 in the final minute after a layup score by senior Kobe Devine.  The Bison tied the game on their next possession and grabbed a one-point lead heading into halftime after Brandon Chung split a pair of free throws with one second remaining.
