How It Happened

* Mangifesta picked up the win at third singles as he defeated Jacob Gossel by the scores of 6-1 and 6-3.

All-Time Series
Today marked the fifth meeting between Abington and Cairn since the start of the 2019-20 season.  The Nittany Lions are now 4-1 versus the Highlanders in the all-time series.

Streaking Lions
Abington is one win away from tying the program's longest winning streak in the Division III era.  The Nittany Lions won eight straight matches heading into the NAC/NEAC Championship match during the 2014-15 season.  The program's longest winning streak in a season occurred during the 1978-79 season when Abington (at the time Penn State Ogontz) went undefeated with a 13-0 record.

Next Up
Abington returns to action on Sunday, March 30 as the Nittany Lions host McDaniel College in a non-conference contest.  Match time is set for 11 a.m. at the Abington Tennis Courts on campus.
