How It Happened (Game 1)

* Abington scored the game's first run and took a 1-0 lead after a first inning base knock by freshman Morgan Craig that scored senior Hailey Gamble.  Gamble led the inning off with a base hit to center field.

* The Nittany Lions doubled their lead to 2-0 in the third when senior Gretchen Yanss singled to right field to score sophomore Isabella Antosiewicz.

* The Knights answered in the bottom of the inning when Stephanie Binek doubled to right field to drive in a run.  Arcadia added another run in the fourth to tie the game at 2-2.  Molly Delio came through with a run scoring single to push across the Knights second run.

* The score remained tied until the sixth when the Knights grabbed their first lead of the game.  Sydney Steiner doubled to right field to score Alexa Kozarski who doubled earlier in the inning.

* Abington made things interesting in the top half of the seventh.  Yanss led the inning off with a double and advanced to third when junior Jill Thomas singled to right field three batters later.  Arcadia's Paige Nolan was able to retire the next batter leaving the potential tying run for the Nittany Lions stranded at third base.
