Abington Falls to Scranton in Non-Conference Contest

Scranton, Pa. –The Penn State Abington men's soccer team dropped a non-conference contest on the road at the University of Scranton by the score of 3-0 on Wednesday night at Weiss Field.  The Royals entered the game ranked third in the United Soccer Coaches Region V rankings as well as receiving votes nationally in the recent United Soccer Coaches Top-25 poll.

How It Happened
 
* Scranton's Tyler Colton accounted for all three of the Royals' goals on his way to a hat-trick performance.  Colton scored two early first half goals in the third and 19th minutes, while finishing off his hat-trick with a score in the 73rd minute.

* Abington had six different players record shots in the game with Nick Golter, Laurence Narcisi and Frankie Rafferty all have shots on-goal.
 
* Keegan Courduff made a pair of saves in net for the Nittany Lions.

Tonight marked just the second meeting between Abington and Scranton.  Both teams met last year at Memorial Field and finished in a scoreless draw.
