How It Happened

* Abington broke the deadlock score in the 82nd minute when junior Hugh Nungessor fired home a rebounded ball towards the lower-left corner of the net.  Coast Guard's keeper, Jack Putnam, made a diving stop on a shot by senior Ryan Lawler.  Nungessor right away ripped a shot past Putnam to give the Nittany Lions a 1-0 lead.

* The lead would be short-lived as the Bears tied the game less than four minutes later off a free kick from Jake Fish about 30-yards out.  Fish launched the ball towards the box and the ball fell between everyone and bounced over and into the net for the score.

* Neither team managed a shot in the final five-plus minutes of the second half as the game remained tied 1-1 as time expired.

Inside the Box Score

* Freshman Keegan Courduff, making his second start of the season, finished with one save.
