How It Happened

* Lancaster Bible earned the team point in doubles play after winning all three competitions.  Sophomore Maman Saly Mbengue and freshman Juliana De Souza trailed 3-0 in their second doubles match versus Natalie Hoover and Becky Dimov before scoring four straight points to take a 4-3 lead.  However, Hoover and Dimov bounced back and went on to take the match by the score of 7-5.

* In singles play, De Souza went the distance against Lindsey Ochs at third flight.  De Souza won the first set, 6-4, but Ochs came back to tie the match with an identical score in the second set.  De Souza went ahead 3-2 in the decisive third set, however Ochs scored the next four points to win the set, 6-3.

* Youngblood had a strong senior day showing at second singles but came up short against Hoover who won the match in straight sets by the scores of 6-4, 6-4.
