How It Happened

* Abington jumped out to an early lead thanks to a two-out double by senior Zach Bauers. His extra-base hit to right plated two runs, including junior Akira Nakamura and Incollingo who both drew back-to-back walks to reach base.

* Abington doubled its lead in the third when Incollingo connected on the first of two home runs on the afternoon.  His two-run blast gave the Nittany Lions a 4-0 lead.

* Berks answered in the bottom of the third with a three-run frame to cut the lead down to 4-3.

* In the top half of the fourth, Abington gave itself some breathing room by adding two runs to increase its advantage to 6-3. Senior Benjamin Gagnon, who led the inning off with a base hit, scored on a wild pitch later in the frame.  Sophomore John Marcucci drove in junior Julian Grandelli with a sacrifice fly to cap the scoring.

* In the bottom of the fifth, Berks came within one run of the lead for the second time in the game.  A two-run base hit by Michael Thalassinos cut the Abington lead to 6-5.

* Abington answered in the sixth when Incollingo connected on his second home run of the game.  This time it was a three-run blast over the center field fence to push the lead to 9-5.

* The score remained 9-5 until the ninth when Bauers led the inning off with a home run to right to make the score 10-5.  Berks tacked on a run in the bottom of the inning to cap the scoring in the game.
