* Sophomore Mia Hammoudi and freshman Alyssa Thompson fell short in a hard-fought battle at second doubles with the Falcons' Jade Wilson and Cam Beverage.  With the match tied 6-6, Wilson and Beverage won the tie-break point, 7-4, to take the match.

* At first singles, Tursunboeva cruised to a straight sets victory over Perrine by the score of 6-1, 6-0.

* Sophomore Maman Saly Mbengue clinched the match point for the Nittany Lions with her third singles victory over Wilson.  Mbengue shutout Wilson in the first set, 6-0, and then took the match with a 6-1 victory in set two.

* Youngblood won her second singles match against Beverage in straight sets by the score of 6-3 and 7-5.  In the first set, Youngblood trailed 2-1 and won four straight to lead 5-2 before taking the set, 6-3.  In the second set, she trailed late 5-4 but went on to win the final three games for the 7-5 win.

* Cedar Crest earned team points at fourth and fifth singles after each match went the distance. At fourth singles, Thompson bounced back against Grace Huff after dropping the first set, 6-2.  Thompson responded with a 6-2 victory in the second set to force a 10-point super tie-break.  Huff won the tie-break, 10-5, to take the match. Hammoudi won the first set of her fifth singles match against Bincarosky, 6-4.  Bincarosky won the second set, 6-2, and took the 10-point super tie-break, 10-2.
