How It Happened (Game 1)

* The score remained deadlocked until the top of the fourth inning when the Nittany Lions lit up the scoreboard with a pair of runs to take a 2-0 lead.  Freshman Candice Peck led the inning off with a double down the left field line and two batters later, fellow freshman Tori Colagreco connected on her first collegiate home run with a shot over the left field fence.

* In the bottom of the fourth, the Knights got a run back with two outs in the frame.  Alexa Kozarski was hit with a pitch and forced in a run as the bases were loaded at the time.

* The score remained 2-1 until the bottom of the sixth when Arcadia took the lead for the first time in the game.  The Knights recorded three straight run scoring hits with two outs in the inning to take a 4-2 lead.

* In the top half of the seventh, Abington tried to make some magic with two outs in the frame.  Senior Jill Thomas came through with a pinch-hit run scoring single to make it a 4-3 game.  Sophomore Morgan Craig followed with a two-out walk to load the bases.  However, the Knights' Stephanie Binek was able to get out of the jam and retire the next batter to close out the came to earn her second save of the season.
