Penn State Abington University Athletics

Fran John Hennessey is a junior guard from Philadelphia, Pa. majoring in Criminal Justice. Fran has three siblings: Chrissy, who attended Penn State Abington herself, a sister Sarah who competed at Ursinus College, and a brother Brian who plays at Gwynedd-Mercy College. Fran played one season of basketball at Father Judge High School, where he received the Mark Ward award. His favorite movie is The Town, while his favorite TV show to watch is The Office. Fran's favorite sport to watch is ice hockey, but his favorite athlete is the always colorful John McEnroe. Fran spends some of his free time as an intramural sports referee here at Abington, and also volunteers as a Little League Baseball coach. Upon graduation, Fran would like to become a probation officer.
