Penn State Abington University Athletics

Patricia Ann Watson is a senior guard from Bensalem, Pa. majoring in Early Childhood Education. She has two younger siblings, Bridget and Colleen. She came to Penn State Abington because she wanted an opportunity to stay close to her family and still play high-quality basketball. Trish played her high-school ball at Conwell-Egan Catholic, where she was a four-year member of the Eagles squad and received numerous honors such as 2nd Team All-Catholic League and 2nd-Team All-Area. Trish has also competed in softball during her time here with the Nitany Lions. Her favorite TV show is Modern Family, while her favorite musician is Kenny Chesney. She likes pizza and frozen yogurt, and enjoys playing sports and spending time with her family. Her favorite sports team is the Philadelphia Phillies. Trish's favorite quote is, "Never let the fear of stirking out keep you from playing the game," from A Cinderella Story. Trish's best athletic memories are scoring 1,000 points and playing at the Palestra during her junior year in high school.
