Penn State Abington University Athletics

Kyle Battell is a senior guard from Readington, N.J. majoring in administration of justice. He has one sibling, Brian. He chose to attend Penn State Abington because of the excellent recruiting job done by Coach Potash and because of the quality academics at Abington. He played basketball all four years at South Hunterdon High School, where he won such awards as 1st Team All-Conference, Conference Player of the Year, and Star-Ledger All-Skinned Knee. Battell also played baseball for the Eagles and was named to the 1st Team All-Conference and 2nd Team All-County. Kyle's favorite movie is Butterfly Effect, while his favorite TV show to watch is Malcolm in the Middle. He loves to eat chicken parm or Chipotle, and his favorite sport to watch is college basketball. Kyle's favorite quote is, "Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity." Upon graduation, Kyle is looking to make a career in law enforcement.
