Box Score Penn State Abington women's lacrosse tallied the final five goals in the game in the comeback attempt, but fell short to Cazenovia College (3-4), 14-10, on
Saturday afternoon to fall to 0-5 on the season and 0-1 in NEAC action.
Three Lady Lions grabbed four points in the contest as
Danielle Savoni tabbed four goals,
Katelyn Haas collected three goals and one assist, while
Nicole Hayes ended the day with two goals and two assists.
Victoria Brady added an unassisted goal in the second half to round out Abington's scoring.
In net,
Shreya Soni managed a season-high 10 saves, including seven second stanza stops, in the losing effort.
Cazenovia held a 32-22 shot advantage and secured 16 of 26 draw controls. Both teams were successful on every clear attempt, while Cazenovia picked up 23 ground balls to Abington's nine.
At the half, Cazenovia held a 9-3 lead after a 4-0 start in the first five minutes. The Lady Lions struck first in the second stanza to start the seven-goal half, five coming in the final 11 minutes, but Cazenovia came out on the winning side.

tomorrow afternoon at SUNY Morrisville with the first draw set for 1 p.m.
