Sanocki Named Women's Lacrosse Head Coach

ABINGTON, PA. – The Penn State Abington athletic department is pleased to announce that Jordan Sanocki has agreed to take over as the head coach for the women's lacrosse program.

"We welcome Jordan Sanocki to the Penn State Abington athletic family as our new women's lacrosse head coach" said Interim Director of Athletics Matt Levy. "Jordan is a former Division III student-athlete who excelled athletically and academically so she can relate to our current and future members of the team. She is motivated to build a winning culture with the program, and we look forward to working with her."

Sanocki comes to Abington from the high school ranks, coaching at Central Bucks East since 2018.  In her first season with the Patriots, Sanocki earned a 12-6 record and took her team to the first round of the district playoffs.  While coaching high school, Jordan also works as a lacrosse trainer and coaching director for the Central Bucks Athletic Association girls' program.

"I am beyond excited to be named the next head women's lacrosse coach at Penn State Abington," Sanocki said. I want to thank the entire athletic staff and Penn State community for giving me this opportunity. I look forward to working with all of the student-athletes and the athletics department to develop a successful program built on hard work and dedication; both on the field and in the classroom. The future of this program is bright, and I cannot wait to get started."

At Delaware Valley University, Jordan played one season for the Aggies and scored 21 goals with six assists for 27 points.  She set a then single-season record with 21 caused turnovers and was named to IWLCA Academic Honor Roll and MAC Spring Academic Honor Roll.

She graduated from Delaware Valley in 2017 with her bachelor's degree in Sustainable Agriculture Systems.
