Haverford responded with a run of its own in the first and later struck for six runs in the bottom of the second frame to move out to a 7-1 lead on a home run of its own.

Abington managed to post its second run of the game when Melissa Kulp scored from third off a fielder's choice but the Fords continued the offensive surge, tacking on four more runs in the third for the 14-2 victory.

Game 2 – Haverford 13, Abington 1

Haverford went right back to work in game two as it quickly took the lead with two runs in the first before exploding for 10 runs in the second on 11 hits, as the Fords took command of the contest.
