Women's Lacrosse Drops NEAC Conference Game to Medialle College, 16-10.

Box Score
The Penn State Abington women's lacrosse team lost to Medaille College, 16-10 Saturday afternoon.

With the loss, the Lady Lions are 3-5 in the North Eastern Athletic Conference and 3-9 overall, while the Medaille improves 5-3 in the conference and 6-7 on the season.

Nicole Hayes and Danielle Savoni each tallied a pair of hat tricks, while Kirsten Quinn, Chasidy McLaurin, Kaitlin Gossner, and Sarah Geny each notched a goal.

Medaille jumped out to a 7-0 lead in the first 15 minutes of the game before Savoni netted Abington's first goal of the game at the 13:06 mark.

The Lady Lions then rallied prior to halftime, scoring four more before Medaille netted two additional goals to make it 9-5 at the half.

Draw controls continued to be an issue for Abington, struggling to maintain ball possession as Medialle four unanswered goals during the second half.

Abington continued its aggressiveness, finding the back of the net five times throughout the second stanza, but it was not enough to overcome the six-point deficit.

The Lady Lions will wrap up the regular season tomorrow as they travel to Utica, N.Y. to take on the Wildcats of SUNYIT. The first draw is set for 2 p.m.
