ABINGTON, Pa. The Penn State Abington women's lacrosse team fell 19-3 to the visiting Colonels of Wilkes University in a snowy afternoon match-up on Saturday. The loss drops the Lady Lions to 0-3 on the season.

Nichole Hayes led the Lady Lions with two goals on six shots along with three draw controls and two grounds balls. Junior
Tori Kimberly tallied a goal on three shots, coming up with three ground balls and two caused turnovers. Goalkeeper,
Sarah Snyder-Kamen, came up with nine saves on the day and collected three ground balls.
Eleven different Colonels scored goals as Tori Kerr, Carley Smith, and Gabby Ford each registered a hat-trick in the win. Ford led the squad with six draw controls and two caused turnovers, while Smith collected a game-high seven ground balls.
Abington was trailing 13-0 at the end of the first half and only allowed six Colonel goals in the second. Hayes broke the scoring spree in the second half on a free-position shot, before adding her second goal 12 minutes later.
The Lady Lions will open a four-game road trip at Arcadia University on March 21
