Box Score
GLENSIDE, Pa. –  The Penn State Abington women's lacrosse team fell to Arcadia University on Thursday night, 18-1. Junior Nichole Hayes scored the lone Lady Lion goal, while sophomore Sarah Snyder-Kamen and Sandy Cao made eight and three saves in the cage, respectively. Abington remains winless (0-4) on the season, while the Knights improve to 2-3.

Wasting no time on the clock, Arcadia exploded for three goals in a span of five minutes to establish control in the first half. The fourth tally of the game for Arcadia's Haylee Molloy at the 21:30 mark of the first half pushed the Knights lead to 6-0, before Hayes got the Lady Lions on the board with a goal at the 19:40 mark on a free position shot. Arcadia regained control and scored six more to take a 12-1 advantage into intermission.

The Knights picked up where they left off in the second period, scoring six unanswered goals to seal the victory. Molloy tallied six points on five goals and an assist while Jessica Santoli scored four goals on the night for Arcadia.

The Lady Lions were out-shot by a 38-8 margin, with Hayes attempting three shots and out-hustled on the ground ball battle by a 28-8 margin. Abington managed to out-duel on draw controls with a 12-8 advantage as sophomore Tori Kimberly won four of the 12 Lady Lions' draw.

The one Abington goal is the lowest single-game scoring total for a Lady Lion squad since Abington fell to Arcadia by a 14-1 scoring during the 2011 season.

The Lady Lions return to action on Saturday afternoon, as the squad takes on Hood College in Federick, Md. at 1 p.m.
