Medialle (4-4, 3-0) jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the first 15 minutes of the opening draw until the 13:30 mark of the first half when Kelly scored an unassisted goal to put the Nittany Lions (1-8, 1-1) on the board. The Mavericks scored three more times to pull in front, 8-1. The Blue and White responded with back-to-back goals from Kelly and McLaurin, both unassisted, to cut the deficit to five before Medialle slipped one into the net for the 9-3 score at the break.
The Nittany Lions were outshot 18-10 in the opening 30 minutes, with the Mavericks also holding the edge in ground balls 19-12.
Medialle scored twice to open the second half until the 16:10 mark as McLaurin slipped past a pair of Maverick defenders and found the back of the net for her second goal of the game. Both teams traded a pair of goals, with Haas scoring Abington's fifth goal of the game at the 13:02 mark before Medillae closed out the tilt with three unanswered goals for the 15-5 win and their third straight conference victory.

Sandy Cao posted 11 saves in all 60 minutes in the cage for the Blue and White.

For the game, Abington was outshot 34-22 overall and 26-15 in shots on goal. The Maveriks also finished with the advantage in ground balls, 32-19.
The Nittany Lions will regroup and look to rebound into the winning ways when they take on the Wildcats of SUNYIT on Sunday, April 6. The first draw is set for 1 p.m.
