Box Score 1 ABINGTON, PA – On senior day the Penn State Abington softball team hosted Lancaster Bible and earned a series split. In game one the Chargers earned a 7-5 victory, but Abington was given a win after a forfeit for injury in game two.
Before the game the Nittany Lions honored

Stephanie Andreoli for their contribution to the program.
Sophomore
Jenna Gorman led the Nittany Lions going 2-of-3 and two RBIs.
In game one the Nittany Lions spotted the Chargers three runs in the first inning due to errors, buy Gorman kept Abington in contention. In the second inning she drove her pitch down the left field line for an RBI double and in the fourth a single out to center field to knock in another runner. LBC went on to score four unanswered runs holding a 7-2 lead till the bottom of the seventh. With one last chance to win, the Nittany Lions scored three runs but couldn't push the game into extra innings.
Abington will hit the round when they travel to Morrisville State on Saturday at 1:00 p.m
