Abington Wraps Up Season at Metro Regional

Logan Township, N.J. – The Penn State Abington women's cross country team concluded its season at the NCAA Division III Metro Regional hosted by Rowan University on Saturday at DREAM Park.

Race Highlights

* Freshman Nina Maxwell was the team's top finisher as she crossed the finish line with a time of 30:10.4 over the 6k-course. Maxwell's time set a new personal-best.

* Junior Nicole Hakman finished next in a time of 32:26.7, while sophomore Liza Worrall crossed the finish line in 35:18.4 setting a new personal-best.

* Junior Teni Olayinka-Yusuf and sophomore Autumn Marteins-Jackson finished back-to-back. Olayinka-Yusuf finished in 40:50.5 and Marteins-Jackson clocked in at 40:55.8. Both were new personal-best times.

* Other finishes included seniors Brianaliz Jimenez (52:58.6) and Yeva Amirkhanyan (1:00:49.5)
