Lotoza Breaks School Record at Bill Butler Invitational

RESULTS

West Chester, Pa. – Sophomore William Lotoza broke the school record in the 200-meters as the Penn State Abington men's track & field team competed at the annual Bill Butler Invitational on Saturday.

Meet Highlights

* Lotoza broke his second school record of the season after finishing the 200-meters in a time of 23.96 seconds surpassing the previous top mark of 23.99 seconds set by Charles Langley last season. Lotoza finished 13^th overall in the event. He also set a personal-best in the 100-meters with a time of 11.87 seconds.

* Freshman Pratyush Mudgal set a new personal-best in the 400-meters with a time of 1:07.03.

* In the 800-meters, junior Marco Isabella finished 14^th overall as he finished in 2:09.34.

* Freshman Anthony Silva set a new personal-best in the 1,500-meters after clocking in at 5:34.11.

* In the 3,000-meter Steeplechase, freshman Aiden Cubbage finished fifth overall in a time of 14:43.13 in his first-ever running of the event.

Abington returns to action on Friday, April 18 as the Nittany Lions compete in the Coach Pollard Invitational hosted by Moravian University.
