Abington Competes at Ursinus Track & Field Festival

RESULTS
Collegeville, Pa. – The Penn State Abington men's track & field team competed at the Ursinus College Track & Field Festival on Saturday at Patterson Field. 
 
Meet Highlights
 
* Freshman Anthony Silva set two new personal-bests as he competed in the 800-meters and 1,500-meters.  In the 800-meters he finished in a time of 2:32.48 and in the 1,500, he clocked in at 5:39.16.
 
* Freshman Aiden Cubbage set a personal-best in the 800-meters as he finished in 2:40.93.
 
* Junior Marco Isabella competed in the 5,000-meters for the first time this season and finished in a time of 17:25.19 to set a new personal-best.  His previous best was set at last year's United East championship when he finished in 18:05.80.
 
* Sophomore Dylan Stuff recorded the team's top placement as he finished 20th overall in the 400-meter hurdles.  Stuff recorded a time of 1:04.57.  He also competed in the 110-meter hurdles and finished in 19.18 seconds (23rd).
 
* Junior Nicholas Worrall nearly broke his own school record in the javelin throw as he registered a distance of 102'0" (31.09m); just eight inches shy of his record of 102'8" (31.30m).
 
Next Up
Abington returns to action next weekend as the Nittany Lions compete in the annual Bill Butler Invitational hosted by West Chester University.
