Abington Competes at United East Championships

RESULTS

Washington, D.C. – The Penn State Abington men's track & field team competed at the second annual United East Conference (UEC) Championships hosted by Gallaudet University at Thomas O. Berg Track over the weekend.

Meet Highlights

* Junior Marco Isabella recorded three top-10 finishes, including a seventh place showing in the 800-meters. Isabella recorded a new personal-best time in the 800 with a time of 2:07.70. He finished eighth in the 1,500-meters with a time of 4:37.05 and also finished eighth in the 5,000-meters with a time of 18:48.46.

* Sophomore William Lotoza recorded one of the team's best placements in the championship as he finished fifth overall in the 400-meters. Lotoza recorded a time of 53.41 seconds.

* Sophomore Dylan Stuff also recorded the team's top placements as he took home fifth place in the 400-meter hurdles. Stuff recorded a time of 1:04.12. He also competed in the 110-meter hurdles and finished in 18.30 seconds.

* Freshman Aiden Cubbage set a personal-best in the 3,000-meter Steeplechase event. Cubbage finished 11^th overall in 13:56.38. He also competed in the javelin throw and registered a distance of 81'10" (24.94m) (15^th).

* Freshman Anthony Silva set two new personal-best times in the 1,500-meters and the 800-meters. In the 1,500-meters he finished 13^th overall in a time of 5:23.12 and in the 800-meters recorded a time of 2:31.23 (16^th). Silva also took part in the javelin throw and finished 13^th overall with a distance of 86'7" (26.40m).

* Also in the 800-meters, freshman Pratyush Mudgal recorded a personal-best with a time of 2:57.23 (21^st).

* Junior Nic Worrall recorded a season-best time in the 800-meters with a time of 2:32.89. He also competed in the javelin throw and finished 12^th overall with a distance of 92'8" (28.25m).
