About Abington (12-4-4, 8-0-0 UEC)
Abington enters the championship game riding the momentum of a 15-game unbeaten streak dating back to Sept. 12.  The Nittany Lions last defeat came in a non-conference game at nationally ranked Rowan University with the Profs coming away with a 1-0 victory. Abington is 12-0-3 in its last 15 games.  The Nittany Lions defeated #8 Cairn University, 4-0, in the quarterfinals and then went into double-overtime to defeat fourth-seeded St. Mary's College (Md.).  Senior Hugh Nungessor scored the 'Golden Goal' in the 103rd minute off a corner kick pass by junior Amerr Yagoub.  It marked Nungessor's seventh goal of the season and Yagoub's 14th assist which leads all of Division III.

Abington in the Postseason
The Nittany Lions earned the top-seed in the United East Tournament after concluding conference play with an 8-0-0 record.  In the last four seasons, Abington is 26-1-3 in conference play and has advanced to the conference semifinals in each of the last four years, including a trip to the 2024 title game. Abington will be appearing in its fifth United East (formerly NEAC) championship game since 2012. The Nittany Lions won the NEAC title in 2017 and 2018.

About Harrisburg (9-7-2, 6-1-1 UEC)
Harrisburg will be looking to repeat as conference champions for the first time since winning back-to-back titles in 2021 and 2022.  Harrisburg comes into Saturday's championship game riding a five-game winning streak with its last loss coming by hands of Abington, 1-0, in Middletown.

Harrisburg in the Postseason
Harrisburg defeated third-seeded Lancaster Bible College, 2-1, to advance to its second straight championship game appearance.  All three goals scored in the game came in the final eight-plus minutes of action, including the game-winner by Addis Tafese in the 88th minute.  Harrisburg has won the conference championship four times in its history (2019, 2021, 2022 & 2025).

All-Time Series
Abington and Harrisburg will be meeting for the 13th time since the start of the 2011 season.  Abington is 4-5-3 versus Harrisburg in that span, including a 1-0 victory in this year's regular season meeting.  The last four meetings both teams have combined for just five goals with Abington holding a 1-0-3 record.  Saturday also marks the fourth meeting in the postseason between Abington and Harrisburg with the postseason series being even at 1-1-1.  Abington's lone win against Harrisburg was a 3-2 victory in the 2012 NEAC semifinals that sent Abington to its first conference title game versus SUNY Morrisville.
