Men’s Lacrosse Falls to Misericordia University.

Box Score The Penn State Abington men's lacrosse team dropped an 28-0 decision to Misericordia University on Wednesday afternoon.

With the win, Misericordia improves to 4-1, while Abington falls to 0-6 on the year.

Misericordia University scored 16 unanswered goals in the first period to take control of the game from the get-go before adding seven more to make it a 23-0 score at halftime. The Cougars notched five more goals during the second half for the 28-0 victory.

Despite the game being one-sided, Abington's net minder Trevor Jones came up with 20 saves in the cage, while freshmen defender Andrew Girondo picked up a team high four ground balls.

Abington will return to action at 1 p.m. on Saturday and will host Thiel College.
