The Penn State Abington men's tennis team dropped a 5-4 decision to Penn State Harrisburg on Saturday afternoon. Abington (9-4, 2-2 NEAC) earned three of its of its four points in singles competition.
Jordan Domsky won 6-2, 6-2, at second singles;
James Howell won 6-2, 7-6 at fifth singles, while
Anthony Hui won 6-2, 6-3 in sixth set.
Ross Raddi had a good outing in singles match, despite the loss. Raddi won the first set, 7-6 in a tiebreaker 7-4, but could not close the deal as he dropped the second set 6-7 in the tiebreaker before losing the third set 6-2.
Nigel Hopkinson and Raddi won 8-4 at second doubles.
With the loss, Abington finishes the year with a 9-4 overall record and a 2-2 mark in the NEAC Conference as a team. However, Majority of the players will participate in the NEAC Conference individual matches on April 28th.
