Trott Selected United East Player of the Week

Latham, N.Y. – Penn State Abington sophomore Daniel Trott was named the United East Conference (UEC) Men's Tennis Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 18 as announced by the conference office earlier in the week. Trott is earning weekly honors for the first time this season and the second time in his career.

Trott went 2-0 last week in the team's fall finale as the Nittany Lions defeated Neumann University, 6-1, in a non-conference match. Trott teamed with sophomore Kaan Ofluoglu for a 6-3 victory at No. 1 doubles before securing a straight-set win at No. 1 singles by scores of 6-2, 6-1.

Abington (1-2, 0-0 UEC) will resume play later this spring with a full conference schedule of matches, including additional non-conference contests.
