CENTERVILLE, Mass. – Wesley College has been selected to host the 2012 ECAC Division III South Baseball Championship, the organization announced Monday morning. The Wolverines finished 30-14 on the year to earn the top seed and a first round bye into the semifinals on Saturday, May 19 at Bob Reed Field. The two semifinal winners will play in the championship game on Sunday, May 20, also at Bob Reed Field.

Six other schools received bids to the ECAC Tournament and will take on each other in the first round on Wednesday, May 16, at the higher seed's venue.

First Round – Wednesday, May 16

No. 5 Marywood (22-18) def. No. 4 Swarthmore (21-16), forfeit
No. 3 Penn State Behrend (26-15-1) def. No. 6 Waynesburg (22-18), 8-7
No. 7 Penn State Abington (23-19) def. No. 2 McDaniel (24-12), 10-6

Semifinals – Saturday, May 19 (at Wesley College)

No. 1 Wesley College (30-14) vs. No. 5 Marywood (23-18), 12:00 pm
No. 3 Penn St.-Behrend (27-15-1) vs. No. 7 Penn State Abington (24-19), 3:30 pm

Championship – Sunday, May 20 (at Wesley College)

A few ground rules and other information for when you arrive at Bob Reed Field, which is located adjacent to Scott D. Miller Stadium on the corner of Queen Street and William Street.
 
-Admission to all games is free. 
-The concession stand will be open throughout the first game and until the seventh inning of game two. 
-ECAC South Championship T-Shirts, featuring all school's colors and logos, will be sold at the concession stand for $15 
-Scott D. Miller Stadium is available to all teams for pregame warm-ups but spikes MAY NOT be worn on the field turf. 
-No pets (dogs) are permitted at Bob Reed Field.
