Volleyball: Blue and White Split First Day of Conference Crossover

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 KEUKA, N.Y. – The Nittany Lions (5-8, 1-1 NEAC) split its matches on the opening day of the North Eastern Athletic Conference crossover at Keuka College, sweeping SUNY Cobleskill 3-0 (25-16, 25-17, 25-19) before falling to Keuka College 3-0 (25-10, 25-15, 25-15).

Freshman outside hitter Rachel Bohl led the Blue and White with 16 kills on the day. Freshman setter Sam Nelson had 39 assists and libero Victoria Lohman had 24 digs. Sophomore Abby Millan tallied 15 kills with seven service aces and 19 digs.

The Nittany Lions attacked early into the first match for their first conference win as they hoped to set the tone against Keuka College, but the Storm proved to be too much to handle as Keuka handed Abington's its first conference loss of the season.

The Nittany Lions conclude the NEAC crossover tomorrow with a match against Cazenovia College at 10 a.m.
