WINCHESTER, Va – The Abington men's tennis squad opened the second half of its season with a 8-1 defeat against No. 17 regionally ranked Virginia Wesleyan College, Tuesday afternoon.
Abington falls to 3-2 on the year, while Virginia Wesleyan improves to 4-3 for its season.
Sophomore
Sam Borai (Toms River, N.J.) recorded his second victory of the season, defeating Jake Morgan in the first set 7-5 and winning the second with a match tiebreaker 10-8, in the final match of the day.
Next the men will travel to No. 9 Salisbury University Thursday at 2 p.m.
