GLENSIDE, Pa. – Sophomore standout
Mohammed Ammouni captured the crucial fifth point in a tight match between Arcadia University in a 5-4 win for the Penn State Abington men's tennis team, Tuesday afternoon.
The Nittany Lions remain undefeated at 2-0.
Arcadia captured the first point of the match but
Mohammed Ammouni and
Justin McNab tied the match with an 8-3 win. Next
Monte Dunson and
James Humes gave the Nittany Lions the lead with an 8-6 win.
Dunson was the first to finish in singles with a 6-3, 6-4 win and McNab right behind getting the fourth point of the match 6-3, 6-2. Ammouni clinched the match with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Arcadia's Ishan Kulkarni.
The men will travel west to Messiah College on Saturday September 26 for their 1:00 p.m. match against the Falcons.
