ABINGTON, Pa. – The Penn State Abington men's tennis team won its second consecutive conference victory of the season with a 9-0 decision over Lancaster Bible, on Wednesday afternoon.
The Nittany Lions improve to 5-6 overall and 2-0 in the conference.
Mike Herman and
JT Kling earned the first point in doubles action with an 8-0 win over the Chargers. Next
Monte Dunson and
Chan wook Hwang finished with an 8-1 victory. Rounding out doubles action,
Mohammed Ammouni and
Qili Jian completed the sweep with an 8-1 win.
In singles action, Dunson earned the fourth point of the game with a 6-1, 6-0 decision over Jesse Weaver of Lancaster Bible. In the sixth flight, Li won the fifth point in a 7-5, 6-0 battle over the Chargers to clinch the match.
Abington will be back on the court when they travel to Wilkes University on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
