Nittany Lions Face John Carroll in Firsts Round of NCAA Tournament

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – The Penn State Abington men's soccer team will face off against John Carroll at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament.

The Nittany Lions earned their automatic bid into the tournament after a 2-1 win over Lancaster Bible in the North Eastern Athletic Conference Championship on Sunday afternoon.  It's the Nittany Lions second consecutive trip to the NCAA tournament, after they fell to Lynchburg last season 3-0 in the opening round.

John Carroll is set to be the host site after they defeated Ohio Northern 5-4 on penalty kicks in the Ohio Athletic Conference Championship. The Blue Streaks will also host Lycoming University and Penn St. – Behrend at 8:30 p.m. The winners will square off in the second round on Sunday at 7:00 p.m.

Ticket prices are $7 for general admission both days (no all session tickets will be sold).  Additionally, tickets are $3 for senior citizens and students, and $2 for children ages three to 12. Ticket windows will open one hour before the start of the first match Saturday and for Sunday's match.
