Abington Splits With Harrisburg

Box Score HARRISBURG, Pa. -Going up against the top team in the NEAC, the Penn Abington baseball team picked up a crucial game against Penn State Harrisburg on Saturday afternoon. Abington dropped the first game 7-5, but rallied in game two to earn a decisive 12-3 win.

After the series split Abington moves to 11-2 and 7-1 in the conference.

Harrisburg started off hot with a three run homer in the first.

In the sixth Harrisburg took advantage of an error to pull ahead of Abington. A run drove in by Zach Morales in the seventh was not enough for the Nittany Lions.

Abington will be back in action Monday when they host Penn College at 1:00 p.m.
