Trott Named United East Player of the Week

Latham, N.Y. – Penn State Abington freshman Dan Trott was named the United East Conference (UEC) Men's Tennis Player of the Week for the week ending Sept. 30. This marks Trott's first career United East weekly honor.

In the team's 2025-26 opener, Trott and the Nittany Lions defeated Rutgers University-Camden, 5-2, in a non-conference match. Trott teamed up with sophomore Krishna Gurram for a 6-4 victory at first doubles. In his second singles match, Trott cruised to a straight sets victory by the scores of 6-1, 6-0 over Camden's Julian Pinder.

Abington (1-0, 0-0 UEC) returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 4 as the Nittany Lions host Eastern University in a non-conference contest. Match time is set for 12 p.m.
