Abington Finishes Fourth at Home Invitational

RESULTS

Huntingdon Valley, Pa. – The Penn State Abington men's golf team finished fourth overall in the team's home Spring Invitational held on Tuesday at the Philmont Country Club in Huntingdon Valley. The Nittany Lions recorded a team score of 345.

Elizabethtown College won the Abington Spring Invitational with a team-low score of 309. The Blue Jays were led by medalist Chris Kilduff who finished the par-70 course with a 73. Delaware Valley University (325) and Arcadia (331) rounded out the top-three in team scores.

Senior Jack Lenox and sophomore Matthew Kilner each led Abington with a team-low score of 84. Junior Bern Popky carded an 86 to finish 21^st overall, while sophomore Matt Duggan recorded a 91 (t-27) to round out the team scoring for the Nittany Lions.

Other finishes for Abington included, freshman Anthony Feliciani who recorded a 96 (34th).

Senior Tyler Burton and junior Nathan Sauder competed as individuals. Sauder finished with an 89, while Burton carded a 95.

Next Up
Abington returns to action on Friday, April 25 as the Nittany Lions compete in the two-day United East Conference Championships. Wilson College will serve as host with the championship being held at Chambersburg Country Club.
