Abington Defeats Marywood in Dual Meet

Tunkhannock, Pa. – The Penn State Abington men's golf team defeated Marywood University, 344-351 in a dual meet on Thursday at the Stone Hedge Golf Course. 
 
Freshman Anthony Carson carded one of the lowest scores on the day as he finished the par-71 course with an 82 (+11) to finish tied for first with Marywood's Ryan Wittenberg.
 
Senior Bern Perky finished third overall with an 84 (+13), while junior Matthew Kilner carded an 88 (+17) to finish tied for fifth.
 
Senior Nathan Sauder finished the course seventh overall with a score of 90 (+19), while freshman Chase Green totaled 100 (+29).
 
Marywood's Baden Hancock (85 - +14) and Luke Landis (88 - +17) each finished in the top-five.
 
Abington returns to action on Monday, April 13 as the Nittany Lions compete in the Wilson College Spring Classic held at the Chambersburg Country Club.
