ABINGTON, PA - Penn State Abington's women's tennis lost its first match of the season today, 7-2, to Eastern University at the Penn State tennis complex. Lions junior No. 4 Lori Phillips (Philadelphia / Central) won in straight sets, 6-1, 6-2. Junior No. 5 Lauren Hetzel (Hatboro, PA / Upper Moreland) won an exciting three-set match that included a 10-4 tiebreaker to remain undefeated in singles competition.
